ClinicSmart is a patient management system for healthcare, a tool supporting doctors in managing diagnostic/clinical data of users. The clinical management system was developed in collaboration with specialist operators in the field, handling sensitive data, ClinicSmart guarantees a high standard in terms of security. Operator authentication with the entry of personal data and the specification of the department of belonging allows access to the software only to authorized users.
Once identified, specific functionalities will then be activated based on the user's role. The first operation requested upon opening the program is to search for the patient through their personal and demographic data (surname, name, date of birth, and C.R.A.). If the search returns more than one record that meets the selected criteria, the healthcare management system facilitates the search through a dialog window from which to select the correct record or in which to enter new data.
Upon loading the patient's record, the system performs the following operations:
-Interfacing with a Web Service to update the data in ClinicSmart's records with the data validated by the Health Service;
- Modification of the appearance of the buttons at the top to indicate in which section there are data related to the patient in question. The appearance of the buttons allows the user to immediately identify whether the entered data concerns the current department, other departments, both the current and other departments, or if there is an absence of data in this regard.
ClinicSmart Real Comm's records allow managing the data of the patient, medical and paramedical staff. The form also integrates a check for the correctness of the tax code.

The ClinicSmart healthcare management system includes the ability to enable specific functions for particular types of users:
-Statistics detection module on the data from the reporting forms (searches by date range, department, ISTAT codes for interventions and pathologies, etc...)
-Duplicate record merging module for typographical errors during entry
-Record cancellation: the functionality was designed for forms that require a progression (such as the operating registry). The record will not be deleted, but simply canceled to avoid unused progressions in the table and to keep track, according to privacy laws, of the operations carried out.
-Change of holder to allow the transfer of data entered erroneously from one patient to another.
-Text formatting with functions similar to those of a simple word processor.
-Programming and insertion of predefined texts to be imported into the field as needed, such as standard diagnoses, with the possibility of modification by the user. The time savings in diagnosis are quite significant.
-Image management module applicable to each clinical-diagnostic record.
The module of the healthcare management system allows the acquisition of images from system folders, cameras, or directly and in real time from instruments connected to specific acquisition cards (frame grabbers). For each image, it is possible to associate a print order and a description for the printing of reports.
